The vision for Luey

Remember what matters.
Carry it forward.

A persistent personal assistant that understands what’s happening in your life, remembers the context, and helps you follow through—without you having to remember to prompt it.

Less to hold in your head. More room for the people and work that matter.

Memory that carries forward

The ambition is to connect your meetings, conversations, email, calendar, and everyday work into an evolving understanding of your people, projects, decisions, and unfinished business.

Commitments with context

A promise has a person, a purpose, and sometimes a dependency. Luey’s goal is to understand those relationships, notice progress and blockers, and keep up as circumstances change.

Preparation before you ask

Imagine an agenda ready before a meeting, a draft built from work you’ve already done, or a follow-up surfaced when the next step becomes possible.

Action with earned trust

We’re building toward help grounded in source evidence, with uncertainty made clear. Luey should prepare work proactively and take external actions within the permissions you’ve granted.

Where it starts

Useful follow-through, one connection at a time.

Today, Luey is a private personal and household tool operated by Josh Kaiser. It connects selected email action items with shared task lists, Todoist, and Hearth. Tasks can retain the context of what needs doing, and linked completion updates can flow back to Gmail.

Luey is under development. Gmail and Todoist changes now trigger task synchronization, with periodic recovery checks for missed updates. The broader assistant described above is our vision; there is no public signup.
